Mondays are the days that people seem to hate the most.
Mondays mean back to your schedule.
Mondays mean actually putting on pants.
Mondays reinforce the fact that you didn't do anything productive all weekend and really need to get your act together.
But Mondays don't have to be a terrible as everyone says they are.
Mondays can be a fresh start. A clean slate. A chance to say "this week I'll do better." Does that mean you'll follow through? No, but it's a nice positive upswing to the usually dreary Monday. Honestly, any day is only as bad as you let it be. Everything depends on your reaction and response to a situation. If you choose to make a Monday terrible, it probably will be. But, if you decide to see Monday in a new light, and treat it fairly, you might just be surprised with how nicely Mondays can turn out. Besides, the average person will have 3,600 mondays in their life, or about 10 years worth.
I don't know about you, but I rather not spend 10 years of my life dreading Monday.

Welcome!
In case you haven't figured out, my name is Kate.
I've had a few blogs in the past, but none of them really caught on. As a freshman at Central Michigan University, I've realized that it's really important to take time for myself to just unwind, relax, and focus. Writing helps me do that.
So with a clean slate, I present to you Kate at Kollege.
This will just be a personal little blog of my adventures at CMU, and hopefully you can laugh, cry, and join me in sharing this college life experience. My goal is to capture everything; the good, the bad, and the ugly. College isn't all rainbows and butterflies, but it also isn't as terrible as some people make it to be.
This blog will also give me the chance to work on my photography skills, which do need some attention, and give me a place to vent, complain, share, tell, and ramble.
Thanks for stopping by!
